Discover Your Personality Style
Start a practical journey of self-awareness and team awareness by completing the PAT assessment, which helps you understand how you tend to think, decide, and collaborate.
PAT — Personality Assessment Tool
PAT is a short, structured assessment grounded in Jungian perspectives. In just a few minutes, you will complete 40 short items that are designed to feel straightforward and easy to answer:
- Best-fit statements: choose the option that feels most like you.
- Ranked choices: order a small set from "most like me" to "least like me" to show what you prioritise when you have to make trade-offs.
- Mini scenarios: choose how you would respond in simple, everyday situations.
When you finish, PAT calculates your results across four Behavioural Types which include Analytical, Assertive, Creative, and Supportive, and it then identifies your strongest combination. Your top one, two, or three types (never all four) come together to form your unique Behavioural Style.
You will also receive two placement numbers, because people often show different patterns depending on the situation and the level of pressure involved:
- Conscious Behavioral Style: your everyday preferences, including how you typically think, decide, and collaborate when things feel familiar and stable.
- Unconscious (Shadow) Behavioral Style: patterns that can show up under pressure, stress, or uncertainty, especially when you are stretched outside your comfort zone.
As you move through the questions, some items describe high-pressure situations such as tight deadlines, conflict, or challenging conditions, and these help reveal your shadow behavioural style. Other items focus on more typical day-to-day behaviour, which helps clarify your conscious preferences. In combination, the two placement numbers give a fuller view of how you tend to respond across different contexts.
Once you have both placement numbers, you can enter them into My Group Lens where your results become clear, colour-coded Personality Strips that are easy to read at a glance and simple to compare across a team. This works particularly well for kick-offs, role changes, and any time a new group forms and wants a shared view of how they work together.
There are no right or wrong answers, just an honest snapshot of how you prefer to think, decide, and work with others.
The Four Behavioural Types
Assertive
Action-oriented and results-focused. Assertive types enjoy challenge, tend to decide quickly when needed, and often communicate with clarity and directness, especially when there is a goal to reach.
Supportive
People-focused and encouraging. Supportive types value harmony, build trust through steady relationships, and are often skilled at noticing how others feel and what they need to stay engaged.
Analytical
Detail-oriented and systematic. Analytical types prefer clarity and accuracy, think critically, and usually want enough information to feel confident before committing to a decision.
Creative
Curious and idea-driven. Creative types enjoy exploring possibilities, bring energy and fresh thinking to discussions, and often help teams see new options when problem-solving or adapting to change.
